Tags are keywords that are attached to your content that describe your art to the search engines. We break them down into several categories -
- Original Medium -
What did you paint the original with... Tags would be one or more of these as appropriate - watercolour, oils, pastels, pencil, charcoal etc. - Art Style -
Would you call your art traditional, modern, abstract, contemporary, expressionist etc. - Season and Tone -
Choosing these will make it easier for interior designers and decorators to select works to a theme - Warm Tone, Cool Tone, Summer, Autumn, Winter, Spring - Colours -
What are the three main or dominant colours found in the artwork - Descriptive words -
These words are specific to your art. People will search for things like "Landscape", "Floral", "Wildlife" etc. When you start typing in a tag, a list will appear of previously used tags - use one or more of them rather than reinventing the wheel.
