As you know, freight is the most difficult item to set up on any website with such a complex array of products and such a large country to ship across.
We have created a set of rules within the website that calculate a freight cost based on the packaged size of the article and a range of general destinations within Australia.
At this point, we will only ship rolled products by Australia Post to the USA or UK. These items are limited to a tube of 105cm in length. No framed goods or stretched canvases will be shipped overseas by us.
SHIPPING CLASSES
We have created a range of shipping classes to suit the products we have available and some options that allow you, the artist to have some control over them. Here is a list of each shipping class and how it is used.
You must select the appropriate Shipping Class for SIMPLE PRODUCTS you list.
- _Note Variable Products_Shipping class is set individually for each variation
When we upload your reproductions, all the variables such as media, sizes, weight, and dimensions are set. Freight costs are based on these dimensions - do not change them, please. - Rolled Artwork in tube less than 105cm - Client Pays Freight
This is our standard charge for any rolled product in a tube as calculated on the site and sent via Australia Post. The client will be charged during checkout and Art House will arrange packing and shipping.
EXAMPLES
- Rolled canvas or paper reproduction in a tube less than 70cm - $22.50
- Rolled canvas or paper reproduction in a tube 70cm - 105cm - $27.50 - Rolled Artwork in tube longer than 105cm - Client Pays Freight

- Original artwork delivered to us, we pack it and dispatch it. We invoice you for the freight and packaging costs.
- items such as Jigsaw puzzles sent directly from another manufacturer who charges a freight cost.
- Something you want to sell without any freight charge to the client. - Original - Artist to Send - Client Pays Freight
Original artworks are packed and freighted by you, the artist, directly to the client, using BuyArtNow's freight calculation. Art House will pay you the freight cost paid by the client when paying the commission. Choose this option if you cannot personally deliver the artwork to us.
EXAMPLE
- You live in Townsville, you have the original and the client is in Melbourne - you pack the artwork and ship it by whatever means available to you. We pay you what the client pays at the Checkout. - Original - BuyArtNow to Send - Client Pays Freight
The client will be charged during checkout and Art House will arrange packing and shipping. You are required to deliver the original to us. - Dedicated Quote Required - Special handling. Client Pays Freight
